Tips for porecare

Skin Log: Elly's Pore Concern

Meet Elly

Q. What is your skin type and your main concerns?

Elly: I have oily skin, and my main concern is enlarged pores.

I always carry blotting papers and use them whenever my skin gets shiny.

Because excess sebum clogs my pores, I often experience breakouts even though I follow a consistent routine.

My biggest struggle is definitely the large pores caused by my oily skin 🙁

Dr. True Answer – Why does oily skin create larger looking pores?

Oily skin produces extra sebum, which mixes with dead skin cells inside the pores.

This buildup stretches the pore openings and makes them look larger on the surface.

Pores are like small elastic tubes, and when the pressure inside increases, the walls become looser and the pores appear wider.

Factors like genetics, hormones, and climate can make this more noticeable, especially in hot and humid conditions. Over time, repeated stretching can make pores permanently more visible.

Controlling oil production and keeping pores clear can help maintain their size and appearance.

Quick question! What is sebum?

Sebum is the natural, oily (waxy) substance your skin produces. You can think of it as your skin’s built-in natural moisturizer and waterproofing agent.

Sebum itself is essential for healthy skin. However, when the sebaceous glands produce too much sebum, or when the sebum gets mixed with dead skin cells and gets trapped in the pore, it can lead to problems like oily skin, blackheads, and acne.

Q. What made you choose RetinoTightening Ampoule to address your skin concern?

Elly: I had heard that retinol can help with pore size, so I was looking for a retinol product,

then I discovered Dr.Oracle’s RetinoTightening Ampoule.

After consistent use, I could genuinely see my pores tightening.

They look much smaller than before, and my skin feels smoother overall.

Dr. True Answer – Why RetinoTightening is different from regular retinol?

Dr.Oracle’s RetinoTightening Ampoule uses a special, patented system called Dermatinol® to deliver its advanced retinoid effectively and gently.

At the heart of this formula is HPR (Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate), a 4th generation retinoid that directly stimulates skin receptors. Unlike traditional retinol, HPR works faster and provides anti-aging benefits such as tightening and reducing wrinkles, with much less irritation.

Dermatinol® acts like a protective and stabilizing shield for HPR, making sure it stays active and effective on the skin. This means you get the full benefits of a powerful retinoid while keeping your skin comfortable and less prone to redness or sensitivity.

Quick question! What’s the difference between retinol, retinoid, and HPR?

Retinoids are all forms of vitamin A that help the skin renew itself. They can improve wrinkles, acne, pores, and overall skin texture.

Retinol is a traditional retinoid. When applied, it needs to convert into retinoic acid in the skin before it becomes active.

This makes it slower to work and can sometimes irritate sensitive skin.

HPR (Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate) is a retinoid that connects directly with the skin’s retinoid receptors, allowing it to work more quickly and effectively. It provides firming, pore-tightening, and anti-aging benefits while causing far less irritation, making it a gentler option for sensitive or oily skin.

Q. What did you like the most about RetinoTightening Ampoule?

Elly: I was actually hesitant to try retinol at first because I had heard about side effects like irritation and redness. When I started using RetinoTightening Ampoule, I was careful to watch my skin, and I noticed that it didn’t cause any irritation or inflammation. Even with my sensitive skin, I could use it consistently without any discomfort.

Dr. True Answer – Why is RetinoTightening Ampoule more gentle than regular retinol?

Unlike retinol, which must be converted into retinoic acid in the skin before it becomes active, HPR binds directly to skin receptors, so it can deliver results faster.

This also reduces the risk of irritation, redness, and dryness that often come with regular retinol.

Additionally, Dr.Oracle’s proprietary Dermatinol® complex protects and stabilizes HPR, ensuring it remains effective even under sunlight or heat.

This combination allows for powerful anti-aging and pore-tightening benefits while keeping the skin calm, hydrated, and comfortable. In short, you get the full effectiveness of a retinoid without the harsh side effects that many people worry about.

Quick question! How to use retinoids properly?

Retinoids work best when applied at night. If you’re just starting out, begin with a small amount and gradually increase it as your skin adjusts. Once the retinoid has absorbed, apply a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and reduce any dryness or peeling. Using it consistently and gently will give the best results over time.
